Global demand for sustainably produced food and beverages is growing. To strengthen Sweden’s position as a food nation, Business Sweden has developed The Swedish Recipe communications platform within the framework of the Try Swedish food export programme.
The platform brings together Sweden’s strengths in innovation, sustainability, and quality into one shared narrative to promote Swedish food and beverages internationally.
The launch took place during a lunch event at TAK in Stockholm, where representatives from the food industry, government agencies, and export promotion organisations gathered to learn more about the concept.
The event also introduced a new film concept featuring Frida Ronge. Through three specially created dishes, she illustrates the values that characterise Swedish food production. The films will be used in marketing activities in selected growth markets.
“Sweden has much to be proud of when it comes to food and beverages. With The Swedish Recipe, we now have a shared platform that helps us demonstrate how innovation, sustainability, and quality create competitiveness for Swedish companies in the global marketplace,” says Maria Kärnerud, Head of Try Swedish at Business Sweden.
The Swedish Recipe aims to broaden the international perception of Swedish food and beverages and highlight the diversity and innovative strength of the Swedish offering.
“We want more international buyers, decision-makers, and consumers to discover Sweden’s modern food heritage. By sharing a common story, we can create greater impact and open up more opportunities for Swedish companies in export markets around the world,” says Maria Kärnerud.
The Swedish Recipe will now serve as a central platform in Try Swedish’s international marketing and export promotion activities.
