The EU provides funding for a broad range of projects and programmes. During 2020, the EU will spend a budget of €150 billion jointly managed by EU Member States and the European Commission. At the same time, EU-financed procurements across the globe present considerable business opportunities for international suppliers, contractors and consultants.
Our webinar on Thursday 16 April at 9.00-10.00 will explain the basics of the EU long-term budget, how financial resources are allocated and how they are managed. The webinar will dig deeper into funding for clean energy and sustainable transport within the EU; identifying centrally managed programmes offering funding and the countries which receive money under the current long-term budget and the future one. The webinar will also explain how EU funds are channelled outside the Union and how companies can take part in project procurements.
We will also present success cases from Swedish companies whom have found new revenue streams by working with Business Sweden’s EU funding team. The session will finish with an interactive Q&A.
