Polarbröd is a family-owned Swedish bakery with over 100 years of heritage, specializing in flatbreads rooted in Nordic baking tradition. Our assortment includes soft portion breads, soft flatbreads, and crisp breads made primarily from rye, as well as wheat and oat, suitable for retail, foodservice, and industrial applications such as ready-made sandwiches. Production takes place in northern Sweden, where traditional baking methods are combined with modern technology, including shock-freezing directly after baking to preserve freshness, taste, and quality without preservatives.
We work closely with selected suppliers to ensure high-quality, responsibly sourced ingredients. Sustainability is an integral part of our operations, with a strong focus on renewable energy, resource efficiency, and reduced climate impact complemented by circular solutions such as recyclable packaging and efforts to minimize food waste across production and distribution.
