Business Sweden’s export initiative for food companies, Try Swedish, is bringing together Swedish food producers in a joint Swedish pavilion at ISM – the world’s leading trade fair for confectionery and snacks – in Cologne. Ahead of this year’s event, Try Swedish is expanding its presence with a larger pavilion, following strong interest from Swedish companies.

The expanded initiative creates even better opportunities for business meetings, product showcases and relationship-building with international buyers, distributors and partners.

The following companies will be represented in the Swedish pavilion:

  • Alélo Group
  • Butiskodlat
  • Dream of Sweden
  • ERT Godis
  • Godisfabriken Aroma
  • Lantchips
  • Nyåkers Pepparkakor
  • Orkla Snacks
  • Re:do

The initiative is carried out within the framework of the Try Swedish Export Programme, which works to strengthen Swedish food exports and increase the visibility of Swedish products in international markets.

The expanded Swedish pavilion at ISM reflects the growing international demand for Swedish confectionery and snack products and offers companies strong opportunities to establish new business relationships,” says Maria Kärnerud, Head of the Try Swedish Export Programme at Business Sweden.

ISM is held annually in Cologne and is one of the most important meeting places for the global confectionery and snacks industry, attracting visitors from across the world. This year’s edition takes place from 1–4 February.

The Try Swedish Export Programme aims to strengthen exports of Swedish food by supporting companies with market insights, networks, establishment advisory services and international visibility. The Try Swedish brand is owned by Business Sweden and promotes Swedish food companies and Swedish food production globally.
