Understanding and navigating the complex US utility and energy markets presents significant challenges. The US energy landscape is characterized by diverse market structures and regulatory frameworks that vary significantly by state and service area, affecting the available options for procuring low-carbon electricity. From deregulated markets offering competitive retail energy options to regulated markets with vertically integrated utilities, understanding the options your local subsidiaries have in the US for procuring electricity, can be daunting.
To address these challenges, we invite you to join us for a roundtable discussion, where we will gather Swedish companies and experts to discuss the intricacies of US energy markets and explore opportunities for low-carbon electricity procurement. These discussions will provide valuable insights into individual and joint procurement strategies, helping Swedish companies optimize their energy sourcing to meet both group-level climate goals and EU legislative requirements.
The discussions will lay the foundation for the ‘US Power Procurement Platform’, a standing initiative that will provide tools and insights to Swedish companies with local US subsidiaries, to more effectively navigate the low-carbon electricity procurement process.
