Time for India

I first came to India in 2006–2008 and then again in 2010–2013, advising Swedish companies of business opportunities and scope for investment and as country manager for a Swedish company producing textiles in India. Now I’m finally back, and so much have happened.

Severe business impact from recent power cuts in China

The recent electricity shortage has impacted Swedish companies' operations substantially. Not only have their own sites been affected, but many companies also feel an indirect impact by their business partners not being able to deliver critical input. There have been power shortages earlier this year, particularly in Guangdong province, but the power cut in September came with very short notice and was felt in several provinces simultaneously.
