During the seminars, Business Sweden's experts will share knowledge and insights on how Swedish companies can benefit from the significant developments facing the MEA region. The discussions are based on Business Sweden's newly released report, 'Green Growth in the Middle East,' where they delve into four markets highlighting the ongoing changes and concrete growth opportunities in Egypt, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

"At present, four percent of Sweden's exports go to the Middle East, and there are approximately 200 Swedish companies in the United Arab Emirates, which are expected to have a higher growth rate than other countries in the world in the coming years. Given the economic and social reforms the region is undergoing, as well as high climate ambitions and a willingness to transition, there are significant opportunities for Swedish companies to further grow and develop here," says Massoud Biouki, Trade Commissioner in the United Arab Emirates.

"The changes in the Middle East are happening rapidly, and as a Swedish company, it can sometimes be challenging to navigate a complex region. Participants will gain insights and understanding of how the green transition is driving economic diversification and societal adaptation in the Middle East, and how companies can seize momentum and expand their businesses in the region," says Marcus Petersson, Trade Commissioner in Saudi Arabia.
