This high-level event will provide a timely platform for dialogue between leaders in politics, the private sector and academia. The summit will foster exchange of experiences and perspectives on the business climate and key sectoral themes, while advancing efforts to remove trade and investment barriers.
Background
A new strategic partnership agreement was signed by Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk at the end of November 2024. The agreement outlines priority areas for collaboration, including innovation, clean energy, new technologies and digitalisation, defence, and support to Ukraine. It also stipulates that a high-level business summit will be organised in Sweden in 2025, followed by a subsequent meeting in Poland in 2026.
The inaugural summit on 17 November 2025 aims to strengthen and develop the competitiveness of both economies and deepen cooperation between businesses in Sweden and Poland.
