One of the landmark initiatives reflecting this shift is the introduction of free annual health checks for citizens starting in 2026, representing a nationwide preventive health programme with an estimated value of USD 1 billion annually.
At the same time, Vietnam is accelerating healthcare digitalization, including the rollout of electronic health records, telemedicine, and data-driven healthcare management. Significant investments are also being directed toward healthcare infrastructure, including new hospitals and upgrades of provincial healthcare facilities to improve access to quality care across the country. Combined with economic growth targets of around 8% annually, these developments are creating strong demand for advanced medical technologies, diagnostics, digital health solutions, and healthcare system expertise.
