Business Sweden invites Swedish companies to join Team Sweden at IMARC 2026 in Sydney – one of the world’s most influential mining conferences. Australia is a global leader in the production of key minerals such as iron ore, lithium, gold and bauxite, offering significant opportunities for Swedish technology providers and suppliers.

Building on the strong momentum from last year, Team Sweden will once again host a Swedish Pavilion combined with a curated matchmaking event to support companies in building relationships and identifying new business opportunities in the Australian mining sector.

The Swedish Pavilion provides a high-visibility presence under the Team Sweden brand in a premium location at IMARC. Participating companies benefit from their own branded space combined with shared meeting areas designed to facilitate customer dialogues, networking and collaboration. The pavilion will also include a coffee bar and Swedish fika, creating a welcoming environment that attracts a continuous flow of visitors and encourages engagement with potential partners.

In addition to the pavilion presence, participating companies will be invited to join a curated matchmaking event designed to connect Swedish solution providers with leading mining operators and industry stakeholders. Through structured roundtable discussions and themed conversations focusing on priority areas such as electrification, automation, digitalisation and sustainable mining, companies will gain direct access to decision-makers and insights into current operational needs and future opportunities.

Australia’s mining sector is highly complementary to Sweden’s strong position as a provider of advanced equipment, digital solutions and sustainable technologies. With large mining operators actively seeking innovative solutions, the market offers strong potential for collaboration, export growth and long-term partnerships.
