About the event
This year, Business Sweden invites Swedish urban land mobility companies to join a curated delegation to Singapore, held in conjunction with the inaugural Singapore Urban Mobility Week. The delegation offers a unique opportunity for Swedish companies to showcase their expertise to key decision-makers, industry leaders, and potential partners across Singapore’s land transport ecosystem. Key features of the delegation include, but is not limited to:
- Comprehensive briefing and introduction to Singapore land transport ecosystem
- Visit to the inaugural Singapore Urban Mobility Week Exhibition
- Meetings coordination and support with Singapore’s companies, research institutions, government agencies, and accelerators
- Delegation reception at the Swedish Residences* and networking with key stakeholders
Why Join the Delegation?
Singapore is accelerating the deployment of next-generation land transport solutions to address manpower constraints, lower emissions, whilst optimising land use in its small compact urban environment. Emerging technologies such as autonomous vehicles, intelligent infrastructure, and electrified logistics systems, have become top of mind by Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA).
With the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Sweden’s Trafikverket and Singapore’s LTA in 2024, Team Sweden continues to operationalise various joint initiatives through pilot deployments, technical exchanges, and industry participation.
Opportunities continue to arise as Singapore is seeking trusted international partners like Sweden, to co-develop and deploy solutions in areas such as logistics, public transport, and fleet electrification.
