The investment
GemVax & Kael, a long-term investor in VeriGraft since 2015, committed SEK 110 million in late 2025 to support the company’s next stage of clinical development in Gothenburg. The investment followed positive results from VeriGraft’s first European clinical study and is being used to fund a pivotal clinical programme designed to generate the data required for market approval in Europe and the United States. The funding was paid in several tranches during the first half of 2026 and enables VeriGraft to continue developing its technology towards commercialisation.
Future growth plans
VeriGraft’s immediate focus is to complete its pivotal clinical programme and pursue regulatory approval in both Europe and the United States. The company is also preparing additional product candidates for future clinical development while continuing to build its operations from Gothenburg.
